From tourists

Morocco has reached the symbolic threshold of 10 million tourists in 2013. Objectives 12 million tourists by 2016 and 20 million by 2022
Most tourists are from Western European (French, Spanish, British, Belgians, Italians, Germans, Dutch, Austrian, Swiss ....) but also Americans (United States, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina .. ..), African, Arab Maghreb and Middle East, Asian (Japanese, Chinese and Indians), but also some from Eastern Europe (Russia, Poland, ...) and Scandinavian countries (Denmark , Norway, Sweden).

In 2013, foreign tourists were mainly 1: French with 3.435 million tourists, with 2,115,000 Spanish tourists, with 589,000 tourists Belgians, Dutch with 554,000 tourists, with 549,000 British tourists, with 547,000 tourists Germans, Italians with 394,000 tourists, Americans with 220,000 tourists. Moroccan tourists residing abroad recorded 4,723,000 arrivals.

The city that attracts the most French is Marrakech. Germans and Scandinavians opt for their especially for resorts Agadir and Essaouira. 2.

More than 10.28 million tourists visited Morocco in 2014, an increase of 2.4% compared to 2013 (10 million in 2013).

However, the French tourist arrivals in Morocco recorded negative fluctuations in 2014, while those of German tourists have evolved positively.
